Our Stay at North wheddon farm was first class , The Farthingwood barn was not only large and spacious but also very well equipped . a perfect setting, Your dinners in the resturant were worthy of any swanky London reestuant. Your Bacon and eggs wow outsatnding I mean we had fresh Goose eggs , like we waited for the goose to lay the egg then poached popped ontop of toasted crumpets, crispy home cured, home smoked middle bacon the best bacon and eggs I ever had !. Had a FANTASTIC time, a real holiday to enjoy remembering! Cottage is beautiful + homely. Loved the animals, each morning we feed the cockerel, from the kitchen window. The goats love dried pasta. The juvenile pigs` were a delight and then to top if off the new born lambs arrived "spring is here" England's green and pleasant land, we will all be back for sure Cheryl , Rod , Juan and John. North Wheddon Farm is set in beautiful countryside on Exmoor. Rachel and Julian make you feel extremely welcome and make it a really great place to experience the warm, hospitality of an English farmhouse. And there's one other major bonus. The home cooked [and home produced] food served here is fantastic and rivals the best you could find in London. April 2006

Our 2nd Christmas here and our 3rd visit to the farm and once again we were not disappointed wonderful and relaxing - the barn has been so comfortable. North Wheddon Farm provides hospitality that's just the way it's supposed to be. The accommodation is lovely, the location perfect for exploring Exmoor, but the lasting impression we'll take away is that Rachael and Julian are most defiantly in the business they should be in! Sorry forgot to write in book whilst there but we wanted to say that we had a wonderful time staying at the cottage. It is so comfortable and welcoming. The children shall really miss the freedom and animals especially now you have the new puppy! Although we didn't have much luck with the weather we still had a fantastic time and the washing machine and dryer were a real bonus when coming back wet and mucky. We shall miss waking up the sound of sheep and the views, and will definately return again soon.We wish you all the best with your venture but are sure that it will thrive as it is an all round outstanding service that you provide.Hope to see you again soon

A very enjoyable stay. It was great having the the daily visits from the lambs, chickens and ducks in the back garden. Going to be a while before we eat lamb!!!. Shame we won't see the babies birds emerge from the nest box, fantastic to see mum feeding them. 15th - 21st of May Sally & Kevin

North Wheddon provides a most commendable standard of guest accommodation. Levels of quality experienced at this inspection, enable a most confident recommendation at 4 diamonds. Hospitality was an outstanding feature of the stay. Similarly, service was notable, the letter of confirmation provided excellent information, an efficient arrival, and attentive and thoughtful service. Housekeeping too made its mark, all areas appeared particularly sparkling. The bedrooms are in great shape. Dining was a further highlight of the stay, dinner and breakfast particularly enjoyable, enabling both to gain guidebook annotations, compliments all round. The snug offers a delightful and relaxing environment, which is also most practical, standard here too are commendable. Overall, North Wheddon farm looks set to provide consistently high standards and surely happy guests. The AA inspector January 2005
